How it was built

Blog2Video is a blog-to-video converter that reads a live article URL, structures it into scenes, writes narration, and applies a designer template. The key difference from AI image/video models: the engine uses AI to write React components that render the video programmatically (via Remotion). Animated diagrams, code blocks, bullet reveals are generated as React components, not AI pixels.

The public site offers three free videos on signup; paid plans start at $2.80 per video at volume. The tool includes an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or n8n can pick templates, create projects, and render videos from within the assistant. Outputs are MP4 for YouTube, PNG scenes for carousels, PDF for decks, or iframe embeds.

The repo is TypeScript with Python (for scraping). The live site and console work as of 2026-08-26. It is a product for content creators who want to turn existing writing into video without editing software.
