Developer discovery across 26k open-source profiles: search by location, language, and contributions on a 3D globe.
by sajeetharan
DevGlobe is a global directory of more than 26,000 public open-source developer profiles. You can search by name, GitHub username, location, programming language, contribution history, or agent availability. Profiles merge GitHub and Stack Overflow signals into transparent rankings, language expertise, project activity, and consent-based collaboration preferences.
The site features an interactive 3D globe, country statistics, and shareable developer identity cards. AI agents can use the public API or a stateless MCP endpoint to search profiles and inspect public expertise. Introduction requests are consent-gated: the developer decides whether to accept before any contact.
DevGlobe is a discovery tool for recruiters, open-source maintainers, and agents looking for expertise. The live site is functional, with a Product Hunt badge and clear value proposition.
